We had a really fun Halloween this year we went to a couple trunk or treats, visited grandparents and the kids have lots and lots of candy so they are very happy:) But it was so fun the boys were a pirate and a parrot and they loved wearing there costumes everywhere and Blake loved having a sword to fight his cousins. Blake did really good this year running from house to house and said Trick or treat every time and then would say Happy Halloween to everyone when they gave him candy. What a little sweetie!!! Hunter hung out in his stroller but loved watching Blake get all the candy and he enjoyed eating alot of the candy Blake got:) I had to take a picture of my nephew Braden he looked just like the guy on LMFAO.
Blake started preschool in September so I am really late on this but I wanted to remember this sweet day. Blake was so excited to go ,and met his teachers a couple days before and really seemed to like them. I was more nervous about him going then he was, I dropped him off and he ran right into his class and had show in tell that day and was so happy to show his transformer. And after school his teacher said he did so good he is not nervous getting in front of people and talking. (in church he had the scipture and memorized the whole thing and spoke right in microphone and did amazing so I know he isn't shy) So its been a couple weeks and he still loves school and has made some friends. I really can't believe how big Blake is getting he will be four in January, Am I old enough to have a four year old? Honestly where has the time gone! Well here are some cute pictures of his first day of preschool and of course he has a BYU book bag:)
About a month ago we drove up to Randolph to go fishing. Roger wanted to go really early so we could go spot some deer before we went, so we woke up at five and just loaded the kids up in there jammies and headed to Randolph. It was really fun and the kids had a blast trying to find the deer and went crazy when they saw one. Then we went and watched Roger shoot his gun at some cans and then headed to the lake. Hunter luckily fell asleep so we got to just relax and fish for a couple of hours. Roger brought three fishing poles for me, Blake and himself and let Blake think he was really fishing, but he soon relized that he wasn't catching anything. Roger caught five fish and Blake was so excited everytime Roger caught one and would hold them and hug them, he was so happy to have a pet. Blake thought it was so funny to touch me with the fish because I hate touching them. (He is such a tease like his dad) I just love looking at these pictures Blake is just so happy to be fishing with his dad!
Hunter had his first birthday on August 12. We had a BYU party of course and had all of our family wear there BYU shirts to the party. Blake and Hunter wore there BYU uniforms and looked so cute. My sister-in- law Ashley made Hunter his own little football cake, and a football field cake with a BYU football on there it was amazing. Roger was so funny he told Ashley she had to put the number 88 on the cake because I guess that is going to be Hunters number when he plays football. The party was so fun, we had all of our family come and we ate pizza, cake and ice cream. Hunter got alot of noisy toys and Blake thinks they are all his. Blake has really been so funny, for birthdays I always decorate the house with streamers and balloons and put up a Happy Birthday banner and wrap some presents and have them on the couch when they wake up, Blake woke up on Hunters birthday and asked of it was Christmas. Hunter was so cute we gave him his cake and he took little bites at first then he realized how good it tasted and grabbed the whole thing and shoved it in his mouth. I really can't believe that Hunter is one already, time has gone by so fast. WE LOVE YOU HUNTER!!!
I have been training for a half marathon in Provo for the past 12 weeks and finally ran it on June 9th. It really was such an amazing experience, my sister in law Ashley ran it with me so it was really fun riding the bus with her and talking and laughing until it was time to run. Roger and I got a hotel in Provo so we had a big pasta dinner the night before and then took the kids swimming it was a blast. Then we went to sleep but I couldn't sleep I was so anxious about the run in the morning I think I was just so worried I wouldn't wake up on time to catch the bus at 3:30 am. It really was so early but I was just so excited to finally be running. There was so many people running the half and Ashley and I made a couple friends while we were sitting around the fire waiting to run. So many people are such hard core runners and eat all sorts of things before they run, I just eat a banana and I have never really stretched much before I ran it was just fun to see everyone's routines before they run. Well the race began and I felt amazing the whole time I just listened to my tunes and relaxed and enjoyed the view of the pretty provo canyon, I honestly was smiling the whole time I was running ,it was the so fun to run with so many amazing people who all were working toward the same goal. I honestly loved training and now I tell Roger I don't know what to do with myself now I just would think about running all the time and ran 5 days a week and so I need to figure out if I want to train to run another one or just run for fun now. Roger has been such a wonderful support to me and has helped me so much to accomplish my goal. I love him so much! Well my time was 2:12 my goal was 2:00 but I guess next time I should focus on running faster I just didn't know what to expect and didn't want to kill myself and not make it to the end. But anyway it was so so amazing so here is some pictures at the end of the race!
Hunter is getting so big, he will be 10 months old on the 12th of June. He is such a sweet little guy and is crawling every where. You would think I have never had a kid before I have forgotten how much kids get into things when they start crawling, he gets into the garbage, finds every cord and always goes towards the stairs. I really enjoyed when he just sat there and played with toys:) But anyway Hunter loves Blake if he hears Blake talking in another room he gets so excited and has to go crawl and find him. He loves being outside so, we go for lots of walks and have gone for a couple hikes and he loves every minute. My boys both love the water so this summer we are loving going to the splash pads and going to pools all the time. Hunter is such a special kid, he always smiles at people and so they come up to me at stores and have to talk to him and play with him. He loves the camera so enjoy these cute pictures of my little guy!
My little Blakey Boy turned three on January 23. I can't believe that he is three already I remember when he was Hunter's age and was just a little guy and I was a new mom not knowing what to do, but he has been such a good boy for his us. Blake is a really active kid ever since he could walk at 10 months he has been running and getting into everything(But my mom said I was the same way so I guess its pay back!) he is always moving and ready to go from the minute he wakes up. Another thing about Blake is that he is so so sweet, he loves to be held especially by his dad and will always hug you and tell you "I love you so much Mom" and loves to give kisses. Blake is also such a boy he wants to fight all the time and jump on your back and throw pillows at you, I love it because I grew up with 5 brothers so I am used to this kind of stuff, and now that I have two boys I can see this activity being a daily thing. You know I know Blake loves me his Mom, But he adores his Dad he tries to be just like him and misses him everyday when he goes to work, so when Roger gets home from work Blake wants nothing to do with me its his time with his favorite guy Daddy. I am proud to say that Blake is potty trained it has been a long road, I had a goal to get him trained before he was three and we did it. He is so funny he likes to sit and he loves to get a prize or treat every time he goes and if I forget he will remind me. Blake is really a smart kid he knows all the letters in the alphabet and counts to twenty and knows he colors pretty good. Blake also loves to dance, for christmas we got a wii and me and him will dance to Just Dance all the time I love that he loves to do things that I enjoy doing. Well wow this is alot of info about my Little Man but I want Blake to know I love him and I am so proud of him and we are so happy to be his parents.
Roger and I have been married almost five years this June. He graduated from Weber State in Sales and works as a Sales Rep for a medical company. I stay home with my two little boys Blake (3) and Hunter (5 months).
