Running

I have been training for a half marathon in Provo for the past 12 weeks and finally ran it on June 9th. It really was such an amazing experience, my sister in law Ashley ran it with me so it was really fun riding the bus with her and talking and laughing until it was time to run. Roger and I got a hotel in Provo so we had a big pasta dinner the night before and then took the kids swimming it was a blast. Then we went to sleep but I couldn't sleep I was so anxious about the run in the morning I think I was just so worried I wouldn't wake up on time to catch the bus at 3:30 am. It really was so early but I was just so excited to finally be running. There was so many people running the half and Ashley and I made a couple friends while we were sitting around the fire waiting to run. So many people are such hard core runners and eat all sorts of things before they run, I just eat a banana and I have never really stretched much before I ran it was just fun to see everyone's routines before they run. Well the race began and I felt amazing the whole time I just listened to my tunes and relaxed and enjoyed the view of the pretty provo canyon, I honestly was smiling the whole time I was running ,it was the so fun to run with so many amazing people who all were working toward the same goal. I honestly loved training and now I tell Roger I don't know what to do with myself now I just would think about running all the time and ran 5 days a week and so I need to figure out if I want to train to run another one or just run for fun now. Roger has been such a wonderful support to me and has helped me so much to accomplish my goal. I love him so much!  Well my time was 2:12 my goal was 2:00 but I guess next time I should focus on running faster I just didn't know what to expect and didn't want to kill myself and not make it to the end. But anyway it was so so amazing so here is some pictures at the end of the race!
